Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy from the State University of Maringá - UEM. Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (2005), Master’s degree in Philosophy (2008) and Ph.D. in Philosophy (2012) from the State University of Campinas - Unicamp. He did postdoctoral studies at the Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science at Unicamp (2020). His area of expertise is the History of Ancient Philosophy, working mainly with the work of Aristotle. His interests are in Aristotelian logic, epistemology, and metaphysics, with special attention to such topics as syllogistic, merology, modality, essentialism, scientific explanation and ontological dependence.
