Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy from the State University of Maringá - UEM. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from University of São Paulo - USP (1989), a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (1996) and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (2001). He did postdoctoral studies at the City University of New York (2015). He is a member of the International Herbert Marcuse Society since 2009 and a member of the Critical Theory and Education Research Group since 2018. He has experience in Philosophy, with emphasis on Critical Theory, working mainly on the following topics: critical theory of society and Marxism, Herbert Marcuse, Walter Benjamin, Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer, aesthetics, social and political philosophy, ideological criticism and cultural industry.
