| Resumo: | Esta pesquisa explora a crítica de Bergson ao tempo espacializado a partir da diferença entre exterioridade e interioridade, caracterizadas respectivamente pela apreensão via linguagem e via intuição. A criação artística constitui-se um caminho privilegiado para a compreensão da intuição, embora inapreensível pela via conceitual. Para compreender o conteúdo da intuição estética, comparamos a arte com outras formas de expressão, a saber, a experiência mística. A partir deste contraponto, fica mais claro o aporte da arte como expressão da intuição. Mediante da imagem artística é possível, mais do que pela via linguística, o contato imediato com a duração, apreendida por um ato de coincidência ou de simpatia. A ação livre é resultado de um contato com a vida em seu teor absoluto ou metafísico. Dispensando os símbolos, a manifestação artística visa exprimir o inexprimível. |

| Abstract: | This research aims at Bergson's critique of spatialized time based on the difference between exteriority and interiority, characterized respectively by apprehension via language and via intuition. Artistic creation constitutes a privileged path to understanding intuition, although it is inapprehensible through conceptual means. To understand the content of aesthetic intuition, we compare art with other forms of expression, namely, mystical experience. From this counterpoint, the contribution of art as an expression of intuition becomes clearer. Through the artistic image, more than through linguistic means, immediate contact with duration is possible, grasped by an act of coincidence or sympathy. Free action is the result of contact with life in its absolute or metaphysical content. Dispensing with symbols, artistic expression aims to express the inexpressible. |
